Grolgore
1, What is the full name of your character?

Grolgore Kir'jak

2, What is the name of your character as it appears in-game (including special characters)?

Grolgore

3, Level and class:

At the time of writing this, 110. Shaman

4, How long have you been roleplaying in WoW and without?

I've been playing for 14 years since the game launched on November 23rd, 2004.

5, What is your age range? (Options are 14-17, 18-21, 22-25, and 26+)

26+

6, What is the back-story and history of your character? (Feel free to be as detailed as you would like.)

Grolgore was born amongst the Frostwolves of Wor'gol in Frostfire Ridge, he was raised a shaman but chose the life of a warrior. He was born Frostwolf but trained by the Burning Blade Clan for many years. He eventually returned to the Frostwolves to honor his parents as they passed away during his time among the Burning Blade. He does so by practicing shamanism as his mother did and striving to be as wise as his father, he hopes to one day surpass them both. To elaborate on his time among the Burning Blade he was obviously not welcomed at first, he had to earn their trust before even being considered worthy of their teachings. He endured the harsh ridicule of being scorned daily and the constant abuse to gain their acceptance, living on the outskirts with little to no aid. His patience paid off eventually and he learned their ways. As for his abilities as a shaman, he incorporates his talents into his fighting style. However since he is not as talented as one who commits to a single path. His true talent is his wisdom and intelligence, which is the driving force behind all his actions. he seeks to understand more than anything putting his life on the line in the pursuit of knowledge. While this is an unusual way of life for orcs his wisdom is welcome to many as a shaman, offering guidance and sharing in his teachings to any willing to listen. There is a significant difference between one who is smart and one who is wise, Grolgore may not be smart... but he is most certainly wise.

7, Tell us about the personality of your character.

Grolgore is an above-average intelligent Mag'har, choosing to spread wisdom and share the chronicles of his travels, he is a wanderer of sorts never comfortable staying in one place long. While he prefers a more diplomatic approach to conflict he understands that there will be times words will fail. He is no stranger to combat however and will fight as hard as any other orc. Grolgore may be a wanderer but he is also a tribal, pulling ones weight is second nature to him.

8, What does your character look like?

Mag'har Orc with tattoos on his shoulders, the tattoos symbolize his time spent among the Burning Blade, solidifying his relations with them. He is of average height & weight, however he has a slightly more built frame compared to others due to his lifestyle as a wanderer with scars to show it.

9, What does your character think of their warchief, Sylvanas Windrunner?

From a personal standpoint Grolgore does not approve of the current Warchiefs actions, while he will fight alongside his allies he considers Sylvanas' dishonorable. But since she is Warchief he will honor her position, even if he disagrees with her actions.

10, What clan was your character born to?

Frostwolf Clan

11, How has your clan heritage and upbringing affected your character?

Grolgore was raised to believe in the value of honor, courage, family, wisdom and tradition. He has the mind of a shaman but the spirit of a warrior, honing both and wielding them together in unison.

12, And lastly, what effects did Garrosh Hellscream's tumultuous tenure as warchief have on your particular orc's experiences in the Horde?

Grolgore doesn't know much about Garrosh, but he is aware of changes that were left in his wake. From what he knows, the orc must have been a proud warrior who fell from grace at some point. This is what Grolgore thinks. As for how he affected Grolgores experiences it was minimal at best as Grolgore spent his time in Nagrand before Garrosh arrived and returned to Frostfire Ridge before his arrival. You could say Grolgore barely knows anything apart from hearsay.

11, Which pages of the site did you read?

I haven't spent much time reading other pages since I've yet to earn my place here, with the exception of the Rules page.

12, What do the fans of Blight Boar love to drink at their concerts?

Probably either "Killer" Brew or P.B.I.T. I'm not entirely sure.

13, Can you initiate roleplay on your own? How often do you? How do you?

I strive to, unfortunately random roleplay is a game of chance. I try to engage in roleplay among guildmates and MAYBE take it to a public scene like a tavern or city plaza. I'm usually exclusive to events, but some one-on-one roleplay is always fun for character development and getting to know another IC'ly in my perspective.

14, What does the goblin's trike use for fuel?

The goblin's trike runs on the ashes of Teldrassil.

15, How involved do you like to be in the guild community outside of the game? Do you enjoy using forums / Discord, etc?

I try to engage in the community as much as possible, the more I know about who I'm sharing my experiences with the better. As for Discord I've been using it for pretty much any/all communication methods. As one who has extensive experience as an officer I find it absolutely necessary.

16, Why do you want to join Warforged Legacy?

Considering how much effort it requires to apply, the time and patience necessary to be evaluated. It's like applying for a job which I appreciate. These are the guilds I know for a fact put alot into their infrastructure and I understand that the people who make it what it is; a real community.

17, Do you know anyone in the guild, and how do you know them?

No I don't know anyone in Warforged Legacy, but I am hoping to change that.

18, How did you hear about us?

I was browsing guilds in guild finder and came across yours.

19, On average, how often do you log into this character and play? Try to be specific.

At the time of this writing I have not been playing as much as I used to, this is due to leveling burnout since I've been committing my time to leveling my Mag'har Orc, however I have reached a point I am comfortable playing so I'm slowly creeping back into more frequent sessions.

20, What was the name of the last guild you were in, and why did you leave it?

Horde side I left the guild known as Warfury Gang because it was a temporary place for this current character, I still maintain relations with them on another character as they are my friends. The same friends who I am with in an Alliance guild on the same server.

21, Anything you would like to add? (Tell us about yourself, etc.)

Well considering this is a repost of what was supposed to be a professional application I am somewhat of a klutz. That just adds to my personality though as someone who while is doing his best to be good & proper will stumble from time to time. I always get back up in the end, always been a stubborn fool. I value community and considering my expectations for this guild I can say with confidence from a first-glance that this looks like a well-oiled machine. I am looking forward to seeing more of this guild should I be welcomed.

22, If you understand that a reason will not be provided if your application is denied type: "I UNDERSTAND" in response to this: I UNDERSTAND

We do thank you for your consideration. Azeroth always needs more orcs. While we hope you enjoy the WrA community... we'll be declining your application at this time. Good luck and bring glory to the Horde!
