1, What is the full name of your character?
2, What is the name of your character as it appears in-game (including special characters)?
3, Level and class:
4, How long have you been role playing in WoW and without?
I've been rping in wow for a short while, but have been playing dungeons and dragons for numerous years.
5, What is your age range? (Options are 14-17, 18-21, 22-25, and 26+)
6, What is the back-story and history of your character? (Feel free to be as detailed as you would like.)
Throkmar was born to a lowly farming family in the Northern Barrens. The eldest of two children, Throkmar always found himself looking out for his little brother Fraklin. One day tragedy beset his family's homestead, as Throkmar's young sibling was taken from this plane too soon. The goring marks on the tiny orc's body were from the tusks of a boar, and Throkmar set out to find the beast responsible. After running away from home at the age of fourteen, Throkmar spent months tracking the monster that took his best friend from him. Finally, after what felt like an eternity to him, Throkmar found that white furred boar and slew it. He returned to his homestead with the tusk of the boar strewn around his neck, thus granting him the name 'Fellboar' from his parents and neighbours.
Throkmar's parents, unable to live with the constant reminder of their loss, decided to part ways, thus forcing the young orc to forge his own path. He now lives among the wilds, taming creature and befriending beast, so that no one will have to suffer the way his family did.
7, Tell us about the personality of your character.
Throkmar has a cheery disposition. His genuinely enjoys making new friends, whether it be sentient creature or beast alike. He doesn't like to see innocent people get hurt, and will actively fight to defend those whom can not defend themselves.
8, What does your character look like?
Throkmar stands around the height of the average orc. He is a bit on the lankier side as living off of the land has chiseled his physique to a leaner body type. His lighter green skin has been tanned by the sun and eroded by the sands of the Barrens. His slick black hair and black beard are unkempt as he often sticks twigs and such in them for camouflage when hunting.
9, What does your character think of their warchief, Sylvanas Windrunner?
Throkmar is not impressed with the events that have occurred during the War of Thorns. Throkmar actively attempts to defend those whom can not defend themselves, and he believes that the warchief's burning of Teldrassil was a cowardly and despicable move. He would not be impartial to Sylvanas being usurped at some point by one of a more honourable stand point.
10, The following questions are designed to get a better grasp of your character within their race and position within the Horde. Only answer the question(s) specified to your character’s race. If the question does not apply to your character perfectly, still try to answer to the best of your ability.
What clan was your character born to?
Throkmar wasn't born into a clan per say. He was born on a small homestead and never really knew the 'clan life'.
How has your clan heritage and upbringing affected your character?
Being raised on a farm has taught Throkmar to never take anything for granted. Never be wasteful nor disrespectful to the land.
And lastly, what effects did Garrosh Hellscream's tumultuous tenure as warchief have on your particular orc's experiences in the Horde?
Throkmar did not care for Garrosh's exile of the trolls from Orgrimmar. Turning away those in need is a sign of insecurity and weakness to Throkmar. He seemed to like Garrosh at first as it seemed he would lead the horde with honour, but after the events that took place in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, Throkmar has thus changed his mind.
11, Which pages of the site did you read?
I have read the frequently asked questions as well the legacy of who we are. I have also read the page on the Kalimdor Mercs. Needless to say I am excited.
12, What do the fans of Blight Boar love to drink at their concerts?
13, Can you initiate roleplay on your own? How often do you? How do you?
I can indeed initiate it on my own! I have been doing so already as I level Throkmar. Often it's just a simple icebreaked like asking for directions or sitting down next to someone at the tavern that I'm passing through. I took some improv classes in college and am pretty quick on my feet in terms of mental gymnastics.
14, What does the goblin's trike use for fuel?
15, How involved do you like to be in the guild community outside of the game? Do you enjoy using forums / Discord, etc?
I'm pretty much on discord every day so I will be very active. In terms of forum posting maybe not so much as I feel like forums are very impersonal and I enjoy being able to communicate with someone efficiently. That being said forums are fantastic for mass information drops.
16, Why do you want to join Warforged Legacy?
Throughout all of the guilds on WRA I feel like this one has the most potential for awesome. I love the website, and the rules, and everything is so official so it prevents randoms from just showing up and making a muck of the place. I've been looking for an rp guild for a while and I believe I've found one.
17, Do you know anyone in the guild, and how do you know them?
I doth not!
18, How did you hear about us?
Guild finder in game actually.
19, On average, how often do you log into this character and play? Try to be specific.
More than likely every night, 2-3 hours minimum.
20, What was the name of the last guild you were in, and why did you leave it?
I've got 3 max level alliance toons, and 6 more between 100-110 all of which are dripping in blue. I wanted to add some red to my ledger.
21, Anything you would like to add? (Tell us about yourself, etc.)
Nothing really to tell. I am just super excited to hear back, whether or not I receive an interview I am just excited for this whole experience. Thank you for your time.
